On November 13th, 2008 the groundbreaking ceremony for the New Agape Home took place.

Taking part in the ceremony were: from left to right:
Darrell Dobson, Frank Durksen, Chris Colacurcio, Gary Haveman, Ron Buchinski, Nick, Pat Buchinski, Megan Mossey, Sydney Lofdahl, Larry Wieber, and Levi.
Since then the project has been completed, replacing the former women's and children's shelter with this new building,
